You didn’t come here by accident — something in you knows there’s a different way forward.

I’m Stacey Freitag, a somatic & nervous system support therapist. I help people who feel trapped in anxiety, chronic pain, overwhelm, or stress to finally find relief that isn’t just in the mind — but in the body where the real experience lives.

For years, I carried my own battles with anxiety, chronic pain, and nervous system overwhelm. I tried traditional approaches — talk therapy, routines, mindfulness — and while each helped in moments, the unsettled tension in my body always stayed. That’s when I discovered somatic work, the kind that starts with the body and nervous system rather than only the thoughts.

This work changed everything for me — not by forcing change, but by helping my nervous system learn safety again. And that shifted how I could think, feel, relate, and show up in my life.

Now, I guide others through that same kind of work:

  • Calming the nervous system so you can feel grounded

  • Releasing stuck tension in the body that talk therapy can’t reach

  • Creating regulation before exploration — so healing doesn’t feel overwhelming

  • Supporting your mental health work, not replacing it

    Many clients discover that once their nervous system feels safer, therapy feels more accessible, effective, and transformative. That’s why I see my work as complementary — it helps strengthen your capacity for insight work, emotional processing, and long-term change.

    My approach is grounded in gentleness, curiosity, and embodied presence. We’ll work together to slow down, notice what your body is communicating, and help your nervous system shift toward regulation and safety. There’s no pressure, no rush — just a supportive space to feel more you.

    I blend somatic awareness with practical nervous system regulation strategies so that what you learn in session can show up in your everyday life.
