Live the life you deserve.
I'm glad you’re here! My name is Stacey Freitag. I offer clients a space to slow down and simply breathe.
Through a naturally grounding and empathetic presence, a strong relationship with each of my clients, and a holistic and mindfulness-centered approach, I help individuals feel safe and supported enough to relax their grip and explore what’s getting in the way of the deep well-being, relationships, and lives they long for and deserve.
I am certified in Trauma Informed Relational Somatics (CRST) and I have studied the Compassionate Inquiry method developed by Dr. Gabor Mate (author and expert on trauma and addiction). I am also a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT) and a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT). As a lifelong student of energy medicine who strongly believes in the body’s capacity to heal, I take a highly integrative approach to the therapeutic process. I incorporate evidence-based mindfulness, somatic therapy, craniosacral therapy, and psychoeducation into my work. I have worked at University of Chicago Hospital as well as Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn IL.
I have personally struggled with CPTSD, chronic pain, and addiction and have made my way to the other side. It is my hope to help others navigate their way to a healthier way of being and living.
If you found your way here, it’s not by accident. Let this be your call. I look forward to working with you.
My Promise to You
You are not broken. You are not “too sensitive.”
You are someone whose body and nervous system have been doing their best to protect you — even when it feels exhausting, stuck, or overwhelming. You don’t have to heal alone.
And you don’t have to force your way through it.I’m here to help you build the capacity for ease, resilience, and safety — from the inside out.
